Antidoping Switzerland
The fight against doping in Switzerland focuses on three topics:- Controls
- Information / prevention
- Research
Since 1 July 2008 Antidoping Switzerland - as an independent foundation - strictly follows and ambitiously promotes those three topics. The branch office is based in Ittigen (near Berne).
Antidoping Switzerland merged from the Swiss Olympic Anti-Doping Commission and the Swiss government's Anti-Doping Departement at the Federal Office of Sport in Magglingen.
For Switzerland the international coordination and cooperation is very important. Therefor Swiss experts work within the framework of the international federations and organisations like the Council of Europe and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
